For many in the missions even the poor appearance of a house does not exist. Those who somehow or other manage to live with limited income of a long day’s work, cannot certainly afford to project for building a proper shelter for themselves. Added to the sufferings of hunger they face the cold weather with scarcely a rag to their backs, and no doors, windows, or even walls to keep off the chilly wind. Our goal is to build shelters for the “houseless” people. $ 7,000 would give a family a proper shelter.
This is an initiative to provide permanent shelter for those who do not have shelter of their own and are living in slums.
To Construct a Small House for a Poor Family | US $ | 7,000.00 |
It is to construct a small house with a living room, a kitchen and a lavatory
The situation of the mentally sick persons is very pathetic in many of our missions. They are often excluded and unwanted by families and relatives. Many of them roam around endangering their own lives as well as that of others. Even when they are able to manage with the help of treatment people are still scared of them. We care for them for the love of Jesus.
Contagious diseases like leprosy, AIDS, Cancer etc. Still exist in many parts of our mission. Those affected by these tragic diseases experience deepest dejection and rejection. We strive to help them to live like any other in the society. We care for the lonely, the abandoned aged, regardless of their caste and creed, providing improvement in the quality of their lives.
